Common Questions

If you are visiting for the first time, we will not embarrass you, have you stand up, or ask you to give money. We know that many people want to check out the church and “fly under the radar” for awhile. Come in and simply enjoy the service...no strings attached. We promise.

What should I wear?

Many people choose to "dress up" on Sundays, but you’ll find everything from casual clothes to business suits. Our Wednesday services tend to be more casual. Come however you’re comfortable and you’ll fit right in!

Do you have a midweek service?

Yes! Mid-Week Worship & the Word focuses on worship and Bible study. Children's ministry and student ministry are also available. The 4th Wednesday night of each month is Family Night, which is one mid-week service for the whole family.

How long do your services last?

Our Sunday service consists of 2 parts: Morning Manna/Life Classes and our Main Weekend Service. Classes last about 45 minutes. Worship lasts about 90 minutes. There is a short break in between. Mid-Week Worship & the Word (Wednesdays) lasts about 75 minutes.

What about my children?

At The Sanctuary, your children are a top priority. Our nursery is clean, safe, and staffed with loving workers. We offer a dynamic children’s ministry with classes for ages 2-12 as well as practical impacting ministry to students from junior through senior high.

I'm divorced, is there a place for me to lead at The Sanctuary?

Divorce is a tragic experience for any person who has had to experience it. Yet, those divorced are not exempt from forgiveness, grace, salvation, and righteousness. A divorced person will be accepted, discipled and promoted within The Sanctuary like any other individual.

What's the church's policy on weather-related cancellations?

Based on reports of expected and current weather, and due to the unpredictability of true weather conditions, a decision will be made public by 8am on Sundays and by 5pm on Wednesdays. Notifications will be posted on our website homepage, Facebook, the church voicemail, and sent out to active members via call messaging service.

Does The Sanctuary belong to a denomination?

No. Our church is not controlled by a denomination, but we are associated with a larger fellowship of churches called the United Pentecostal Church, International (UPCI).

What should I do until service starts?

Relax and make yourself comfortable. We'd love for you to fill out a guest card. Any usher or greeter will be glad to provide you with one. This is our way to communicate with you, but don't worry...this is a safe card. We won’t single you out during the service or show up at your front door during dinner. This card is simply our way of letting you know what is happening at The Sanctuary. Fill out as much information as you feel comfortable giving, then just drop it in the offering basket.
